ALMA, on one page
ALMA is a math learning platform for grades 1–12 and pre-academic programs. Inside it, Maya, an AI math teacher, starts from what the student tried and asks before she explains. The app is in Hebrew.
What teachers see
- Each student’s practice, over time.
- The student’s sessions, to see where they got stuck.
- An alert, to a teacher or the school administration, when a student shows signs of distress.
Safety
- Accounts open only by personal invitation, usually through the school.
- Grades 1–7 need a parent link or the school’s approval.
- Signs of distress are detected without AI, and the alert goes to a teacher or the school administration.
- Maya is an AI and can make mistakes; she is a math teacher, not a counselor. Her replies are generated by Google Gemini.
Privacy
- Parents see a progress summary, without access to the students’ chats.
- Data can be exported or deleted.
- The full documents are in Hebrew: privacy policy, terms of use, safety guidelines, accessibility statement.
